This video was taken during an in-house clinic held at Hataitai Gymnastics in 2005. It features Lee McDermotte as the presenter covering a range of basic MAG skills on high bar, pommel, parallel bars, rings. Lee McDermott is a former British national team member and 1994 Commonwealth Gold medal winner on the still rings. At the time of the video Lee had made the transition to coaching WAG and was the head coach at Counties Manakau in Auckland, New Zealand. He trained some of New Zealands best gymnasts, like Oliva Jobsis, along with a few others who represented New Zealand at the 2005 World Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne. Lee now coaches for Cirque du Solei in Canada.

In this video Lee shares his ideas and techniques to coaching the fundamental skills on the MAG specific apparatus. The information presented is valuable and relevant to any coach, but the audio is at times hard to understand.
